On July 24, the Kenya team of Softcare visited the Imani Rehabilitation Agency in Kayole, Nairobi, to donate maternal and baby care products to abandoned infants and vulnerable children, bringing them warmth and care.

Softcare donated a variety of products to the Imani Rehabilitation Agency, including diapers and wet wipes for children aged 1 to 4, as well as sanitary pads for the staff. In total, over 80 boxes of supplies were delivered to help improve daily care and hygiene conditions of the Agency.
Started in 1992, the Imani Rehabilitation Agency is a non-profit making organization registered under the Ministry of Home Affairs as charitable children institutions vide CDEN OOOO71. It currently operates four children’ s centers, providing care and support to hundreds of children ranging in age from newborns to 18 years old. The agency is dedicated to offering shelter, rehabilitation, education, basic medical services, and emotional support to vulnerable children who have lost family care. Imani strives to help these children regain hope in life and eventually reintegrate into the community, and its long-standing commitment has been widely appreciated by the local community.
Following the visit, Softcare Kenya received a letter of appreciation from Imani Rehabilitation Agency. Gillian Njeru, the agency’s manager expressed that this collaboration reflected their shared vision of bringing hope and support to the children the children. She noted that knowing the dedicated partners like Softcare strengthened their resolve and motivated them to strive for better outcomes of the children every day.
